No office. No waiting room. No insurance.
Just your physician, at your door.

Lakefront Concierge Medicine is a private internal medicine practice for adults on Milwaukee's North Shore. Your physician comes to your home or your workplace, at a time that fits your day.

THE MODEL

A practice built around the house call

One physician.
No office.

Serving adults from Mequon south to downtown Milwaukee, including Bayside, River Hills, Fox Point, Glendale, Whitefish Bay and Shorewood.

Members pay the practice directly through a membership fee rather than through insurance. That is what makes the rest of it possible.

There is no office. Every visit takes place where you already are, whether that is your kitchen table, your living room, or your desk between meetings. You are not driving across the city, finding parking or sitting in a waiting room for 30 minutes because the clinic is running late.

About Jeffrey Stein, DO

Colleagues tend to describe me the same way: easygoing, upbeat, and quick to find the good in a difficult situation. Patients and the residents I've trained have also told me I clearly enjoy explaining what's going on and why, not just giving an answer.

I'm board certified in internal medicine and trained in Milwaukee. I spent seven and a half years as a hospitalist at Columbia St. Mary's, then moved to St. Luke's, where I've practiced for the past two years. Alongside that hospital work, I spent several years at a free clinic serving uninsured patients in Milwaukee, a commitment that began during residency and one I plan to continue throughout my career.

I grew up in the North Shore and moved back after training. This isn't simply the community I serve. It's the one I'm part of.

This practice exists because of my own frustration with how complicated healthcare has become. Half a day gone to a doctor's visit, thirty minutes in a waiting room, and ten more in an exam room waiting for someone to walk in, just to get a five-minute answer. I've watched my own parents struggle to get a simple question answered, passed from call centers to apps instead of just reaching someone. I believe the process is broken, and that it can be done better. That belief is what this practice is.
